Geelong has been reborn and is creating a community of innovators, startups, and attracting new and existing businesses to call it home. But how? Together with Launch Vic and City of Greater Geelong, we invite you to a panel discussion and networking event where you will get to hear from some of the most influential people in the revival of Geelong and who are helping shape it’s future.

Geelong has gone through monumental change over the past decade and fast becoming the regional hub to start or move a business to. On the panel, we have two industry leaders who have been heavily involved in projects shaping the future of Geelong.

On the panel we have:

Andrew Hamilton, Director of Hamilton Group, who have just been awarded the Best Urban Renewal Project in Australia 2022, at the UDIA National Awards, for their Pivot City Innovation Precinct in North Geelong.

Lesley Alway, Chairperson of Geelong Arts Centre. Over the last four and half years, Linda and the GAC Trust have worked with the GAC team to undertake a major redevelopment of the Arts Centre. Stage 2 on Ryrie Street opened in late 2019 and Stage 3 on Little Malop Street is scheduled to open in mid 2023.

The hosted discussion will put questions to our panel on their journey in the local area and what their thoughts are for the future of Geelong with an opportunity for the audience to ask questions.

Included with your ticket there will be catering and basic drinks plus we have the fabulous, Geelong based (and our neighbours!), Anther Distillery on hand, with a gin based cocktail for everyone on arrival. Throughout the evening you can try some more of their delicious drinks as well as purchase your own bottle to take home.

After the panel discussion, there will be an opportunity to network and meet those in attendance.

There is a small charge of $10 for the event with light refreshments being provided.
