Elise McNamara, Chicken Coach – Startup Introduction
Since she was three, growing up on a dairy farm in Colac, chickens have been Elise McNamara’s obsession. Nowadays, her mission is to help free-range egg producers, schools and families to keep their flocks free of disease, as productive as possible and as naturally as possible. With previous experience in product development and marketing, Elise has partnered with specialist veterinarians to create the Chicken Coach. Together, they have developed unique, 100% natural, quality supplements for poultry with chronic disease. These products, accompanied with workshops and online tutorials, enable Elise to empower poultry owners with a holistic approach to the wellness of their flock.
Maxine Driscoll – Leadership
Maxine Driscoll is an award-winning educator, leadership expert, author, international speaker, consultant and leadership coach who draws on outstanding leadership experience in Australia and internationally. She has held executive leadership positions in international, independent and IB World schools in three countries from 2000 – 2018. In 2014 she founded Think Strategic Think Leadership, a 21st Century Leadership Consultancy. Maxine has presented at conferences in Asia, Australia, Europe and the USA. Completing a Leadership Fellowship at Columbia University, New York, USA and a Masters of Education at Deakin University, Geelong, Australia she is qualified, experienced and passionate to inspire a new generation of 21st Century Leaders.
Dr Hamid Abdi – The future of work
Dr Hamid Abdi is unit chair entrepreneurship in the school of engineering at Deakin University, with specialisation in automation and robotics. He has been involved with multiple innovation and entrepreneurship activities since 2002, he is the winner of multiple innovation and entrepreneurship awards including, UNESCO entrepreneurship of the year and Australia fintech innovation award.
The masterclass will break for lunch from 12 – 1 pm, and again for afternoon tea from 3 – 3:30 pm – so you’ll have time to enjoy some networking whilst nibbling. Catering will be provided.
